A Las Vegas man found guilty of killing a Pizza Hut employee more than eight years ago will be eligible for parole in five years.
Larry Darnell Bailey, 39, was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday with parole possible after five years in the beating death of 20-year-old Pizza Hut manager Rennie "Sean" Wells on April 21, 1995.
District Judge Donald Mosley handed down the sentence after a jury last month convicted Bailey of second-degree murder in the slaying.
The verdict marked the second time Bailey, who worked under Wells as a Pizza Hut employee, was convicted.
He was serving a no-parole life term for first-degree murder in the slaying when it was discovered that key evidence was withheld during the trial and the Nevada Supreme Court granted a retrial.
