Robert Anderson Sr.

Robert Anderson Sr., 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 16, 1954, in California. A resident for 30 years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by one son, Robert R. Anderson Jr., one daughter, Stephanie Anderson, and his mother, Lola Anderson, all of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Tom Anderson of California and Dennis Anderson and Michael Anderson, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled at noon Saturday in Whitney Community Center, 5700 E. Missouri Ave. A private burial will follow. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Daniel R. Barkley

Daniel R. Barkley, 47, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. An area director for a food service company and an Army veteran, he was born Oct. 12, 1955, in Garden Grove, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Danielle Barkley of Las Vegas and Jessica Clark of Riverside, Calif.; his father, James Harris of Hemet, Calif.; and two sisters, Dianna McCann of Andover, Kan., and Rhonda Avey of Tacoma, Wash.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Abeba Belete Blazek

Abeba Belete Blazek, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1962, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A resident for 20 years, she was a floor supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; two sons, Abel Kelkay and Nathan Blazek, one daughter, Brianna Blazek, and her mother, Zabishwork Teferi, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Etagegn Teferi, Enatenesh Belete, Ewnet Belete and Genete Belete; and three brothers, Teferi Belete, Solomon Belete and Yohannes Belete.

Visitation was scheduled 30 minutes prior to a noon service today in St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Laura V. Hubbell Burlingame

Laura V. Hubbell Burlingame, 94, died Saturday. She was born May 19, 1909, in Hartford, Conn. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Ann Deane Wanner of Wharton, Texas.

Private graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Mildred L. 'Millie Butter' Carroll

Mildred L. "Millie Butter" Carroll, 83, of Hannibal, Mo., died Tuesday in a Hannibal care center. She was born May 21, 1920, in Henderson, Ky. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a retired head housekeeper at the Villa Roma Hotel.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Carl Butter and James Butter; one twin sister, Margaret Duncan; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Flo Brocaille of Hannibal; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Hannibal. James O'Donnell Funeral Home Inc., is handling arrangements.

Andrew M. Crow

Andrew M. Crow, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1931, in Oklahoma. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired laborer at the Nevada Test Site and a member of Local 872.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sons, William of Las Vegas and John of Henderson; two daughters, Dona and Berthia Gerling, both of Henderson; three brothers, Grant of Missouri, Jack of Oklahoma and John of California; five sisters, Bertha, Margie, Dixie, Patsy and Georgia, all of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Audrey H. Curnutt

Audrey H. Curnutt, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 11, 1910, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 38 years, she was a head housekeeping inspectress.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Sr.; one son, Roy "Rick" Jr., and Donald; two daughters, Ann Hayter and Betty Mullica; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Valentine 'Rudy' De Paris

Valentine "Rudy" De Paris, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. A retired railroad general car foreman, he was born Feb. 14, 1910, in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; and two daughters, Michelle Ray of Mandota, Ill., and Diane Kay of Lansing, Ill.

Lucille Florence DePippo

Lucille Florence DePippo, 83, of Las Vegas died July 9 in Las Vegas. She was born June 26, 1920, in Indiana. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Terry and Richard; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Dolores Juanita Emile

Dolores Juanita Emile, 70, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 24, 1933, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, she was a postal clerk.

She is survived by two sons, Dwight Emile of Hollywood, Calif., and Michael Emile of Alameda, Calif.; one sister, Doris Jones of North Las Vegas; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Miracle Lind Glory Garcia

Miracle Lind Glory Garcia, an infant, died Saturday, her date of birth in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her parents, Henry and Natasha Garcia, and two sisters, Dajour Garcia and Taylor Garcia, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Savion Garcia of Las Vegas and Trayvon Garcia of Nevada.

Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services and burial will be private.

Neonila Germaniuk

Neonila Germaniuk, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 27, 1920, in Poland. A resident for nine years, she was a retired occupational therapist and a member of the Ukranian Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Nina Cooper of Las Vegas; one son, Humphrey Germaniuk of Warren, Ohio; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until an 11:30 a.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Emily Grinces

Emily Grinces, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Amsterdam, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired bar and restaurant owner-operator.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Grinces and Marianne Ross, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Florence Botaitis of Amsterdam, N.Y.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Sharin Scott Irby

Sharin Scott Irby, 45, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A computer technician and a Navy veteran, he was born Feb. 7, 1958, in Hawthorne, Calif.

He is survived by one daughter, Rachael Rose of Whittier, Calif.; his mother, Harriet Irby of Las Vegas; two sisters, Cameron L. Smith of Kansas City, Mo., and Debra S. Reynolds of Homeland, Calif.; and four brothers, Charles H. Irby of Menlo Park, Calif., Don L. Irby of Scottsdale, Ariz., Steven R. Irby of Fresno, Calif., and Rick A. Irby of Wendover.

Susan A. Moore

Susan A. Moore, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1950, in Monrovia, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a cosmetic saleswoman.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Jason Moore of Porterville, Calif.; and one daughter, Lyndsee Moore of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-2 p.m. Thursday followed by 4 p.m. services at Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Jack Passalacqua

Jack Passalacqua, 81, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired air-conditioning technician and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta; one son, Peter Passalacqua of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Michael McEvoy of Las Vegas and Patrick McEvoy of Chula Vista, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Melanie McEvoy of New York City; two brothers, Sal Passalacqua of Jamaica, N.Y., and Peter Passalacqua of Farmingdale, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. and visitation will conclude at 6 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jennie Pietrzycki

Jennie Pietrzycki, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 26, 1925, in Garrett, Ind. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Iris Wozniak of North Las Vegas; two sons, John "Ski" Pietrzycki of North Las Vegas and James H. Machura of Cedar Lake, Ind.; one sister, Jackie Vickery of Sherwood, Ohio; and one brother, James Van Curen of Sherwood; grandchildren; and greatgrandchildren.

Margaret Reeves

Margaret Reeves, 82, of Prescott, Ariz., died Sunday in a Prescott care center. She was born Oct. 1, 1920, in Lincoln, Ill. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Clark County Teachers Association.

She is survived by one son, Dave Reeves of Prescott; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Darnell L. Richardson

Darnell L. Richardson, 21, of Las Vegas died July 6 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1981, in Las Vegas. A resident for 22 years, he was a hotel security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by two brothers, Joel E. Bousley of Lawton, Okla., and Michael L. Richardson of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Darnell Lamb of Las Vegas.

Henry Ridley Jr.

Henry Ridley Jr., 61, of North Las Vegas died July 16 in a local hospital. A resident for 49 years, he was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son, Steven Ridley of Fresno, Calif., and Debbie Arvidson, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jean Roland

Jean Roland, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 25, 1917, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired law office assistant.

She is survived by one daughter, Mina Morales of Las Vegas.

Theresa Romano, 69, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 5, 1933, in New York City. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Madeline Valentino and Michele Moran, both of Henderson and Joann Noia of New York state; two sons, Carl Romano and James Romano, and three sisters, Nettie, Stella and Yolanda, all of New York; two brothers, Albert of New York and Rocco of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mariellen Sand, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 19, 1952, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, she was a licensed practical nurse in the ob-gyn field.

She is survived by one brother, Clare Courutier of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Jani Novotny of Las Vegas and Vicki Smith of Buchanan, Tenn.

Leonard Stefanelli, 79, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Gary, Ind. A resident for nine years, he was a retired shipping clerk, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran, a member of the American Legion and United Auto Workers.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; one daughter, Cherise Stefanelli of Chicago; one sister, Dolores Pisani of Crown Point, Ind.; and one grandchild.

Robert Martin Tardive, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 27, 1943, in Dover, N.J. A resident for 30 years, he was a manager in the gaming industry and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his former wife, Bonnie Tardive of Henderson; two sons, Dominick John Tardive and Nicholas Anthony Tardive, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Dominick Anthony Tardive Jr. of Newberry Park, Calif.; and one sister, Marie Cagara of Santa Barbara, Calif.

Allis Irene TeGantvoort

Allis Irene TeGantvoort, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born May 16, 1915, in Stutsman County, N.D. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired schoolteacher.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip L.; one daughter, Laura Youngsma of Furgus Falls, Minn.; four sons, Larry TeGantvoort of Hopkins, Minn., Douglas TeGantvoort of Fountain Valley, Calif., Wallace TeGantvoort of Las Vegas and Ronald TeGantvoort of Henderson; one sister, Ruth Holt of Clear Lake, S.D.; two brothers, Robert Eakins of Clear Lake and Henry Eakins of Washington, D.C.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Barbara A. Wardell

Barbara A. Wardell, 60, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Philadelphia.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Kimberly Marsh and Kelley Anderson; two sons, Albert Andersen and Raymond Andersen; and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Daniel Wilson

Daniel Wilson, 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 10, 1967, in Tulsa, Okla. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired car rental service manager and a Persian Gulf Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Daniel Paul Wilson, his mother, Deborah Rodriguez, one sister, Patricia Spence, and one brother, Mike Rodriguez, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday followed by a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
