Ballroom dancers plans event
The U.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association along with University of Nevada, Las Vegas DanceSport will hold their July dance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Dance Elegance, 1201 Arville St.
Singles and couples are welcome.
Admission is $10; $5 for members and students.

Recycle phone books will aid literacy
Sprint Yellow Pages, the Clark County Library and Republic Services of Southern Nevada will host the third annual Recycle for Literacy event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
For every directory recycled that day, Sprint Yellow Pages will donate $1 (up to $10,000) to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District adult literacy program.
