CARSON CITY -- Here is a breakdown of Senate Bill 8, which imposes an estimated $836 million in new taxes over two fiscal years. The bill, passed by two-thirds of both houses of the Legislature, goes to Gov. Kenny Guinn for his approval. He is expected to sign the plan into law.
