Fred Agnello

Fred Agnello, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired truck driver and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carmella; one daughter, Francine Badello of New York; one son, Frederick Agnello, and one brother, Raymond Agnello, both of New York City; one sister, Roseena Orlando of Del Rey Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11:30 a.m. service Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Diane Harriet Colehour

Diane Harriet Colehour, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. A food server, she was born Feb. 26, 1928.

She is survived by one son, David Colehour of Rochester, N.Y.; one daughter, Lynn Mantie; two brothers, Richard Borvitz and Ben Borvitz; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

James Anthony Culp

James Anthony Culp, 69, of Hobart, Ind., died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Terre-Haute, Ind. A former Las Vegas resident for six years, he was a retired county government director and park designer, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Legion Post 8 and the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly Bradford Culp.

No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Indiana. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ann Mary Czik

Ann Mary Czik, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 12, 1937, in Budapest, Hungary. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired hairdresser and a member of Republican Women.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Jane Czik of Great Neck, N.Y.; one son, Thomas Czik of East Hills, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Johnnie P. Dollar

Johnnie P. Dollar, 56, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 10, 1946, in Hattiesburg, Miss. A resident for 34 years, she was a dealer.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; one son, Henry Dollar II, and one daughter, Cherish A. Dollar, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Harry Milburn Easterwood

Harry Milburn Easterwood, 101, of Warrensburg, Mo., died Sunday in a Missouri care center. He was born March 7, 1902, in Warrensburg. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a retired auditor.

He is survived by three nieces; one nephew; and one cousin.

No local services are scheduled. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Peace Mausoleum at Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Loretta Maxine Hannah

Loretta Maxine Hannah, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Al Hannah of Golden Valley, Ariz., and Tom Hannah of Pahrump; one sister, Betty Knoche of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary's chapel, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Kansas.

Beverly Elizabeth Harward

Beverly Elizabeth Harward, 55, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A cosmetologist at Mandalay Bay, she was born May 15, 1948, in Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Kimo; two sons, Bruce Walker of California and Robert Walker.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive. A private burial will follow. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Karen Holbrook

Karen Holbrook, 47, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1955, in Midland, Mich. A resident for 15 years, she was an accountant in the gaming industry.

She is survived by her fiance, Robert Henry of Las Vegas; her parents, Russell and Phyllis Leck of Bend, Ore.; and two sisters, Linda Carew of Bend and Mary Lynn Soler of Miami.

Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Vivian Norma Koegel

Vivian Norma Koegel, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 27, 1916, in Terre Haute, Ind. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Fred R. Koegel of Las Vegas; one daughter, Nancy L. Koegel of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Ted M. Miller

Ted M. Miller, 66, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1936, in Bisbee, Ariz. A resident for three years, he was an operations manager at Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn.

Catherine Moat

Catherine Moat, 72, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Glasgow, Scotland. A resident for nine years, she was a retired banking supervisor.

She is survived by one sister, Margaret Flannigan of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with a 6 p.m. service in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Kathy Nagunst

Kathy Nagunst, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1951, in Shellie, Idaho. A resident for 32 years, she was a crew leader for a fast-food restaurant.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; one son, Bill Meredith of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Ruth Watts Pearson

Ruth Watts Pearson, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 5, 1931, in Alabama. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Tommy Pearson of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Alabama. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Henry Ridley Jr.

Henry Ridley Jr., 61, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. A resident for 43 years, he was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Louisiana.

He is survived by one son, Steven Ridley of Fresno, Calif.; and two daughters, Sheila Devereaux and Debbie Arvidson, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Michael D. Rizzo

Michael D. Rizzo, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A retired casino boxman, he was born May 15, 1915, in Tyler, Pa.

He is survived by six daughters, Andrea Roberts, Catherine Rizzo and Nathalia Rizzo, all of Las Vegas, Lisa Rizzo of Van Nuys, Calif., Maria Saturday of North Carolina and Donna McGregor of Pittsburgh.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

John 'J.C.' Swanson

John "J.C." Swanson, 74, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. A resident for 50 years, he was born March 14, 1929, in Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Christerdale; seven sons, Steve Jr., Tony, Donald, Steve James, John Maurice, Jamey and Jeremiah, and two daughters, Coretta Tennial and Nicole Swanson, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jimmy Swanson of Las Vegas and Earl Swanson of Georgia; one sister, Alberta Favors of Georgia; and 29 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be noon Friday in Church of Christ, North Las Vegas. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Helen M. Tantanella

Helen M. Tantanella, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 4, 1925, in Cleveland. A resident for six years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by two sons, Peter Tantanella of Las Vegas and Charles Tantanella of Cleveland; one daughter, Virginia Gauff of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Peter Galier Jr. of Camarillo, Calif., and Martin Galier of Palmdale, Calif.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

David Rulon Ward Sr.

David Rulon Ward Sr., 64, of Las Vegas died July 22 in Las Vegas. A Las Vegas real estate executive, he graduated from Weber State University and Brigham Young University.
