Gideon Bibles still offered in Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, most major casinos offer Gideon Bibles in rooms but don't have other holy texts available. That's the case at the Las Vegas properties of MGM MIRAGE, Park Place Entertainment Corp., Harrah's Entertainment Inc. and locals' operator Station Casinos Inc.
At Harrah's, the most geographically diverse casino company, the decision on whether to stock the Bibles is left up to each individual property, spokesman David Strow said.
The Borgata, a joint venture of Nevada casino companies Boyd Gaming Corp. and MGM MIRAGE, is the first new hotel-casino in Atlantic City in 13 years.
