Pioneer Day Parade Saturday
The fourth annual Pioneer Day Parade presented by the Green Valley Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Estes McDoniel Elementary School.
The parade route runs west of Fox Ridge, then north of Valle Verde, east on Fox Ridge and return to Fox Ridge Park.
The event is free and will feature a parade, square dancing, handmade quilts, horses and games. The public is invited to participate and enjoy the breakfast.

The Bureau of Land Management
will host "Astronomy at Red Rock Canyon," a slide presentation from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center. For more information, call 515-5367.
Boulder City Lions Club
will hold its annual golf tournament fund-raiser Saturday at Boulder Creek Golf Course. The fee is $90 and includes lunch. For meeting times and place, call Linda Stocker at 290-6852.
