The California company that acquired Las Vegas-based PurchasePro out of bankruptcy is merging with a Missouri e-commerce company.
Perfect Commerce Inc., Palo Alto, announced today that the company has agreed to merge with eScout LLC of Lee's Summit, Mo.
Terms were not disclosed. The companies said the merged company would be privately held and be based in Lee's Summit, a suburb of Kansas City. Offices in Palo Alto, San Diego and Las Vegas would continue to operate, the companies said.
Perfect Commerce bought the bankrupt PurchasePro for $2.56 million in January. Perfect Commerce, PurchasePro and eScout offer business-to-business procurement services through specialized computer programs.
