CEO named

HOUSTON -- El Paso Corp., the nation's largest pipeline company, announced today it has chosen energy services company Halliburton's chief operating officer as its new leader.

Douglas Foshee, 43, resigned from Halliburton Wednesday to become El Paso's chief executive beginning Sept. 2.

Ronald Kuehn Jr., who has been El Paso's interim CEO since March, will continue as chairman.
