Jacquelin D. Babich
Jacquelin D. Babich, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 3, 1944, in Chicago. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one sister, Vicki Gawrysh of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and her companion, Tom Flynn of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Janet Louise Baker
Janet Louise Baker, 88, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 23, 1914, in Michigan.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Van Hassell of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Elaine Arnold of Henderson; and one grandchild.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Don Donaldson Jr.
Don Donaldson Jr., 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1945, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 47 years, he was a general manager in the gaming industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Toni Hernandez, and one sister, Dess Eastman, both of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Toys for Tots, 2905 E. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89104.
Melvin D. Fleetwood
Melvin D. Fleetwood, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Missouri. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired upholsterer.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; four daughters, Deborah Lloyd and Donna Sparks, both of Henderson, and Marilyn Garrett and Tammi Qustandi, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Melvin Daniel Fleetwood Jr. of Henderson and Richard Fleetwood of New Castle, Pa.; three sisters, Freida Courter, Thelma Branum and Mary Knight, all of Dexter, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. A private burial will follow.
George Hoffmann
George Hoffmann, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born June 13, 1918, in St. Louis. A resident for three years, he was a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Dean; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be 1 p.m. July 27 in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Olin Webb Jones
Olin Webb Jones, 90, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 30, 1913, in Byron, Wyo. A resident for many years, he was a pipefitter in the oil industry.
He is survived by two daughters, Nita Soltau and R. Yvonne Rodriquez, both of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Martha Osmanski
Martha Osmanski, 84, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 26, 1918, in New Jersey.
She is survived by one son, Donald Osmanski of Hobe Sound, Fla.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Sayreville, N.J. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Zithlali Solorzano-Lopez
Zithlali Solorzano-Lopez, 10 weeks, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 26, 2003, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Cristal and Osiel of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 5 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
