A man was shot outside an apartment at 713 E. Sahara Ave. shortly after 8 a.m. today and was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Metro Police Officer Jose Montoya said.
The shooting happened outside an apartment, and witnesses reported hearing four shots. One of the shots was believed to be to the victim's head.
The suspects may have fled to the Eureka Casino at 595 E. Sahara Ave. in a white pickup truck, Montoya said.
