Bible school scheduled Monday
Wellspring Church of All Nations will host its "Walking in the Light" summer vacation bible school from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through July 18 at Mount Crest Neighborhood Park, 4701 N. Durango Drive.
The event will feature music, prizes and snacks.

Food festival set for weekend
Our Lady of Wisdom Church, 2120 Lindell Road, will hold a food festival and game day for children and adults from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The festival offers food and games for everyone.

Doctor Magic to visit NLV library
All ages are invited to a performance by Doctor Magic at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive.
The free program will offer many magic tricks, and you will be able to learn some tricks that you can use to impress your family and friends.

Mars presentation to be at Red Rock
The Red Rock National Conservation Area and the Las Vegas Astronomical Society are providing a presentation on Mars followed by observations of the planet and other sky objects using several amateur telescopes.
The presentation will be at 8 p.m. on Aug. 2 at the Red Rock Visitor Center. Observing will take place from dusk until 11 p.m.
