Virginia R. Bratty
Virginia R. Bratty, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday. A homemaker, she was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Boston.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; and one son, Robert E. Bratty of Omaha, Neb.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Angeular 'Whiskey' LaMotte
Angeular "Whiskey" LaMotte, 52, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Detroit. A resident for three years, she was a retired Detroit police officer and a member of the Detroit Connection.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan K. Landrum of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dr. DiAnn Walker of Palmdale, Calif., and Argretta Gale of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Giuseppe Parrino
Giuseppe Parrino, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Palermo, Italy. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired restaurateur.
He is survived by his wife, Concetta; two sons, Joseph Parrino Jr. and Jerry Parrino, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. vigil service today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. A church service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Helen Elizabeth Paul
Helen Elizabeth Paul, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday. A homemaker, she was born Oct. 5, 1919, in Philadelphia.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice Van Der Werff.

Grace Anne Retke
Grace Anne Retke, 80, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Portland, Ore. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for a community service organization.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Motley and Teresa Retke Gonzales, and one son, Michael Retke, all of North Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Howard Sackmann
Howard Sackmann, a Las Vegas resident for 22 years, died Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, Earlene; three daughters, Joyce Dugger of Santa Barbara, Calif., Brenda Blackman of Glendale, Calif., and Pat Overkleeft of Las Vegas; one son, David L. Sackmann of Orlando, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann Satarino, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born April 1, 1941, in Chicago.
She is survived by her husband, George; and one brother, Joseph Lavalle.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Freda M. Shovar
Freda M. Shovar, 79, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Mount Pleasant, Mich. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Bench of Hawaii and Clara Kabalan of Arizona; and two sons, Mark Shovar and Stephen Shovar, both of Nevada.

Ann Tietz
Ann Tietz, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 31, 1935, in New York City. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; three daughters, Karen Rice of Henderson, Ellen Griffin of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and Ann Ponce of Rego Park, N.Y.; four sons, Donald Tietz of Florida, Lawrence Tietz and James McMillen, both of Las Vegas and Arthur Tietz of Patterson, N.Y.; five brothers and eight sisters; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

George P. Tungate
George P. Tungate, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 5, 1921, in Merom, Ind. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired chiropractor and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Don; one daughter, Lynn Porter of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Keith J. Willis
Keith J. Willis, 36, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 11, 1966, in Los Angeles. A resident for 24 years, he was a tire repairman.
He is survived by one son, William Willis, and his companion, Allison Snyder, both of Henderson; his mother, Sylvia Welborn, and one sister, Kandi Willis, both of Lake Charles, La.; and one brother, Kenneth Carpenter of Austin, Texas.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
