Spring break show scheduled

The city of Henderson presents its Spring Break performance at 7 p.m. Saturday poolside at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Drive.

The band will present a variety of West Coast surfing songs reminiscent of the Beach Boys.

Admission is $8; $5 for youth and seniors.

Aktion Club to hold friends, family night

Greater Las Vegas Aktion Club's First Family and Friends Bowling Party Aktion Club, a service club for young adults with disabilities, will hold their first Family and Friends Nite from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jillian's in the Neonopolis Downtown.

Three Aktion Club members are Special Olympians from the International Special Olympics in Ireland. They will be on hand to tell of their experiences and the medals they won while in Ireland.
