StumbleMonorail car model unveiled

Cam Walker of the Las Vegas Monorail Co. recently showed a model of new monorail cars that will be operated when a four-mile route between the MGM Grand and the Sahara hotel-casino opens in January 2004.
The existing monorail trains, which operated between the MGM Grand and Bally's hotel -casinos and were formerly used by the Walt Disney Co. at its theme parks, were retired Sunday night and taken off line. The existing cars are being taken out of service to accommodate construction of the new system.
