Josephine Carr, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 1, 1919, in Las Vegas.
Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
James Clark
James Clark, 54, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1948, in California.
He is survived by two sons, John Carr and Jeff Carr, both of Iowa; his mother, Flora Clark; one sister, Mary Muse of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Pauline D. Foster
Pauline D. Foster, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 15, 1927, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired assistant manager at a restaurant, a retired member of the Culinary Union and volunteered at Catholic Charities and the JC Senior Park Mobile Home Community.
She is survived by one daughter, Serena Sue Mull of Portland, Ore.; one son, David William Mull of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Jane Believez of Omaha; three brothers, Samuel Debbs of Omaha, James Debbs of Hoffman Estates, Ill., and Fred "Curly" Debbs; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Paul J. Galli
Paul J. Galli, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 9, 1935, in Barre, Vt. A resident for eight years, he was a retired beverage sales representative.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; one son, Dan Galli of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dianne Geffre of Paso Robles, Calif.; his mother, Lorena Galli, and one sister, Janice Hardin, both of California; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.
Ralph H. 'Harry' Godbe
Ralph H. "Harry" Godbe, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 30, 1917, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired railroad mining engineer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph H. Godbe Jr. of Henderson and John Dale Godbe of Montrose, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

Paul Douglas Harmon
Paul Douglas Harmon, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 20, 1921, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 52 years, he was a laborer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Paulette Cawthon, and three sons, Douglas Harmon, Michael Harmon and Rollie Harmon, all of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Foster Hayes Jr.
Foster Hayes Jr., 81 , of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Newellton, La. A resident for 49 years, he was a Tropicana hotel kitchen worker and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by five daughters, Lenora Winbush, Joyce Thompson-Williams, Mamie L. Hayes and LeeAnn Hayes, all of Las Vegas, and Alma D. Hayes of North Las Vegas; three sons, Elijah Hayes, Carl Hayes and Donald Hayes, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Feola Hayes of Tallulah, La., and Nathaniel Hayes of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Joan Jasmin and Lillie Gilbert, both of Chicago, and Florence Hardwick-Watson of North Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Helen Hoffmann
Helen Hoffmann, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Provo, Utah. A resident for 13 years, she was a financial manager.
She is survived by one son, Eric Hoffmann of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Nick Polydoros of Los Angeles and George Polydoros of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Samuel Jackson Jr.
Samuel Jackson Jr., 47, of Las Vegas died Jan. 14 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 19, 1955, in Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Taylor-Jackson; and his parents, Eva and Samuel Jackson Jr.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Memphis. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Stuart Indig
Stuart Indig, 49, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 19, 1953, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired dealer and a member of the Jockeys Guild.
He is survived by his father, Israel Indig of Pembrooke Pines, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Tony Pollits of Las Vegas; and one sister, Helene G. Entus of Plantation, Fla.
Services will be noon Friday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by burial in King David Cemetery.
The family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
Pauline Johnson
Pauline Johnson, 87, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born March 6, 1915, in Ambridge, Pa. A resident for 56 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Walter; one son, Thomas Johnson, and one daughter, Darlene Hilliard, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Patricia Ryan Justice
Patricia Ryan Justice, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1948, in Elmira, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired attorney, a member of Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Justice, National Child Abuse and Resource Center, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Nevada and Virginia State Bar.
She is survived by her husband, Arlen; one son, Michael Ryan Yohay of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Sheila Robinson of Lakeland, Fla.; her parents, Cathryn Jane and Thomas T. Ryan of Newport Richey, Fla.; one sister, Suzanne Cassada of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and one brother, Michael T. Ryan of Scottsdale, Ariz.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Mariam Elizabeth Kish
Mariam Elizabeth Kish, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 1, 1947, in Geneva, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a registered nurse for the Clark County School District and a national SIDS Foundation volunteer.
She is survived by her father, Lloyd J. Kish of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Janice L. Bassett of Farmington, N.Y., and Cathy L. Riding of Mesquite.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Marilyn Kay Logan
Marilyn Kay Logan, 40, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A slot technician, she was born Feb. 6, 1962, in Kansas.
She is survived by one sister, Deann Schuetz.

Elizabeth 'Bettie' Lowden
Elizabeth "Bettie" Lowden, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Wilmington, Del. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired hotel corporate retail manager.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Lowden of Las Vegas; three sons, Paul Lowden and David Lowden, both of Las Vegas, and Gary Lowden of Brookings, Ore.; one sister, Anne Lackey of Las Vegas; three brothers, Ernest Horner of Wilmington, Del., Summerfield Horner of Las Vegas and Charles Horner of Baltimore; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Theresa 'Terry' Marra
Theresa "Terry" Marra, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 18, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 35 years, she was a founding member of Chief Operators of Las Vegas, a memberof Teamsters Local 995 and former chief switchboard operator at the Frontier hotel for 23 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry Eckhart of Las Vegas and Antonia Marra of Henderson; two sons, Vince Marra of Las Vegas and John Marra of Pahrump; two sisters, Clare Johnson of St. Clair, Mo., and Angelina Childers of Portland, Ore.; and three brothers, Nicholas Candela of Medford, N.Y., Frank Candela of Oakland, N.J., and Louis Candela of Rockaway Park, N.Y.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
James William McQueen
James William McQueen, 35, of Las Vegas died Dec. 22 in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1967, in Cleveland. A resident for 10 years, he was a construction worker and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his parents, Micheal F. and Christine Ellen Charnley McQueen; four brothers, Micheal J. McQueen of Spencer, Ind., and Kenneth E. McQueen, Joseph J. McQueen and Christopher McQueen, all of Panorama City, Calif.; one sister, Patricia E. McQueen of Huntington, Utah.

Jose Guadalupe Nieto
Jose Guadalupe Nieto, 77, of North Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Mexico. A resident for 15 years, he was a hotel kitchen helper.
He is survived by one daughter, Marie Rodrequez, and one son, Ernesto Rojas, both of North Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Frank Panich
Frank Panich, 60, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 2, 1942, in Gola, Croatia. A resident for 19 years, he was a chef, a Vietnam War Army veteran, a member of the American Culinary Federation, fraternity of Executive Chefs of Las Vegas and a co-partner of 1M P&T Culinary Services LLC of Nevada.
He is survived by three sons, Frank Panich Jr. and John P. Panich, both of Henderson, and James P. Henry of Las Vegas; one brother, Charlie Panich; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

She is survived by her parents, Joel and Michelle Patchen, and one brother, Elijah Patchen, all of Henderson; her grandparents, Charlie and Emily Patchen of Fort Collins, Colo., Paulette Willfong of Boulder, Colo., and James Willfong of Lodi, Calif.; and her great-grandmother, Lela Alfred of Great Falls, Mont.

William George Rigby, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Germany. A resident for 13 years, he was a computer installer for a railroad company and a member of the Holocaust Museum in Houston.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Renee; and one daughter, Stephanie Watts of England.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Bob Smith Sr.
Bob Smith Sr., 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 1930, in Kerrville, Texas. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired federal government mechanical and cost analysis engineer and a veteran of the Seabees.
He is survived by his wife, Fritzie; two sons, Ken Cole of Monroe, Wash., and Bobby Smith of Las Vegas; two daughters, Linda Stoddard of Las Vegas and Brenda Cole of San Diego; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2100 Maryland S. Parkway. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Albert James Tessitore
Albert James Tessitore, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired driver in the trucking business for more than 40 years.
He is survived by one daughter, Camille Stark of Georgia; one son, Albert Tessitore of California; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

John B. Thayer
John B. Thayer, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 8, 1939, in Marlborough, Mass. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired shipyard marine rigger and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Scott Thayer and Raymond Fimby, both of Hayward, Calif., and Thomas McCorkle of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
