Audit finds no problems with money

An independent audit of the city has found no apparent problems with how Las Vegas is handling its more than $1.4 billion in assets.
The city's comprehensive annual financial report found "no material weaknesses" in the way the city accounted for its funds, said Tom Snow of KPMG, which conducted the audit.
The report was presented Wednesday to the City Council.
