OMAHA, Neb. -- Union Pacific Railroad announced plans Tuesday to open a network of bulk chemical transloading terminals with TRANSFLO Terminal Services.
The program is to begin this month with conversion of UP locations in Henderson; Portland, Ore.; Rifle, Colo.; and Santa Fe Springs, Calif., to TRANSFLO-operated terminals.
The move is to expand transload, or truck-rail car combination shipping, services throughout the UP rail system.
