Vegas company to post higher annual revenue

Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003 | 9:50 a.m.

Slot route operator Herbst Gaming Inc. of Las Vegas expects fourth quarter revenues to total $64 million and fourth quarter cash flow to be between $10 million and $11 million.

Comparative data wasn't available by press time.

The company also anticipates 2002 revenues to total about $250 million and 2002 cash flow to total between $39 million and $40 million.

That compares to revenues of about $233 million in 2001. Cash flow information wasn't available.

The company became Nevada's largest operator of slot machines in so-called restricted gaming locations -- including grocery stores, bars and convenience stores -- when it announced last month that it would acquire the Nevada slot route from slot machine maker International Game Technology.
