The Tuscany hotel celebrated the opening of its casino Friday.
Las Vegas residential builder Charles Heers and Arizona-based contractor Gaylord Yostdeveloped the casino on East Flamingo Road. They have hired Bruce Fraser, a veteran casino manager with Boyd Gaming Corp. in Las Vegas, as the property's first general manager.
A 35,000-square-foot convention center still under construction is aimed at drawing local businesses as well as visitors who might otherwise stay at the property's existing hotel.
