Kevin Kelly will replace Don Marrandino as president of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, effective Monday.
Kelly is senior vice president and general manager at Station Casinos Inc.'s Santa Fe Station.
"We're extremely excited -- we've known him about four to five years," said Yale Rowe, vice president of marketing at the Hard Rock.
Marrandino announced his resignation last month to join Steve Wynn's upcoming Le Reve resort as executive vice president and general manager of Wynn Resorts Ltd.
Marrandino joined the Hard Rock in 2001 after seven years at Station Casinos and six years at Harrah's Entertainment Inc.'s off-Strip Rio resort.
Peter Morton, co-founder of the ubiquitous Hard Rock chain, will be in Las Vegas Tuesday to introduce Kelly to the Hard Rock staff.
