Nancy G. Adcox
Nancy G. Adcox, 71, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Nash County, N.C. A resident for 35 years, she was a Dunes hotel porter for 23 years, a Golden Nugget porter for 10 years and a longtime member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by one son, Melvin Adcox Jr. of Henderson; two daughters, Elizabeth Woolman of North Las Vegas and Sharon Davis of Las Vegas; her mother, Nettie S. Griffin Batts of Rocky Mountain, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3391 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
Belson S. Cabrera Sr.
Belson S. Cabrera Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 2, 1919, in the Philippines. A resident for six months, he was a retired Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emeteria G.; four sons, Belson Jr., Belson III, Sonny and Val; two daughters, Leni and Lorna; two brothers, Nestor and Hernando; two sisters, Regina and Beverly; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday and Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Roscoe Cox
Roscoe Cox, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born July 20, 1921, in Nebraska. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired forklift operator and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lee; one son, Ross; one daughter, Barbara; and one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Scott K. Freeman
Scott K. Freeman, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1957, in Indiana. A resident for two years, he was an airline flight attendant.
He is survived by his father, Glen Raymond Freeman of Churubusco, Ind.; and his mother, Marianne Bedwell of Las Vegas.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Dorothy Insalata
Dorothy Insalata, 77, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a hotel sales clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Pitts of Boulder City; one son, Ken Insalata of Las Vegas; two brothers, Richard Slaveck of Henderson and Raymond Slaveck of Mexico; one sister, Irene Scarpelli of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. today in Harbor House Hospice, 4011 McLeod Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Josephine Gloria Katz
Josephine Gloria Katz, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 1, 1930, in Winthrop, Mass. A resident for 17 years, she was a porter in the hotel industry and a member of AA.
She is survived by three daughters, Patti Jo Katz of Arcadia, Calif., Linda Russo Milano of Duarte, Calif., and Dyan Katz of Swampscott, Mass.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Frances M. Killen
Frances M. Killen, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born March 1, 1914, in Plainview, Texas. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, John Killen of Hermosa Beach, Calif.

Justin Dale Kolisnek
Justin Dale Kolisnek, 27, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 7, 1975, in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. A resident for four years, he was a helicopter pilot at a flight training school and a member of Las Vegas Royals hockey team.
He is survived by his wife, Laura A. Gorski; one son, Drayton Dale Kolisnek of Las Vegas; his parents, Loreen J. and Edward D. Kolisnek, and one brother, Warren C. Kolisnek, all of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
Visitation is scheduled 3:30 p.m. until a 5 p.m. service and 6-8 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to a memorial trust fund at Bank of America, No. 4965939092.
John Leach
John Leach, 51, of Las Vegas died Dec. 12 in Las Vegas. An Army veteran, he was born Sept. 5, 1951, in California.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1:20 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Olga 'Mary' Pikoulas-Rivers
Olga "Mary" Pikoulas-Rivers, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 19, 1911, in St. Louis. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired real estate manager.
She is survived by one sister, Helen Gallenas of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
