Firms expand partnership

Mikohn Gaming Corp. of Las Vegas and Australia-based Aristocrat Technologies Inc. have expanded a previously announced strategic alliance to produce leased slot machines.

Under the agreement, which takes effect for five years, Mikohn will outsource its servicing, maintenance and refurbishing to Aristocrat, allowing Mikohn to focus on game development.

Aristocrat will receive royalties for services and hardware rendered per game per day, the companies said. In each jurisdiction, Mikohn expects to replace existing slot machines with Aristocrat versions of these games.
