Grace O. Bourne

Grace O. Bourne, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 24, 1912, in Trinidad. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired insurance clerk, a member of Culver City and Las Vegas Emblem Club and the Moose Lodge in Las Vegas.

She is survived by one son, Stewart M. Bourne of Las Vegas; six sisters, Barbara Pickering, Gloria Baring-Gould and Joy Moore, all of England, Elaine Daly and Kathleen Flann, both of Canada, and Janette Laird of Trinidad; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Hartley 'Cas' Cassidy

Hartley "Cas" Cassidy, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 10, 1921, in Nova Scotia. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired charter boat captain, a World War II Army veteran and past state commander of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly H.; one daughter, Mary-Ann Snider of Las Vegas; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Rosario Ross Castorina

Rosario Ross Castorina, 80, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 31 years, he was a showroom captain at MGM Grand, which became Bally's, for more than 27 years.

He is survived by one brother, Frank Castorina, and one sister, Ann Perrill, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Anna D. Denning

Anna D. Denning, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1919 in Great Falls, Mont. A resident for two years, she was a retired nurse's assistant and a member of the Carpenters Auxiliary.

She is survived by three sons, Chris J. Denning of Las Vegas, Ken Denning of Big Sandy, Mont., and Tom Denning of Denver; two daughters, Shirley Denning-Fudge and Sharon Howard, both of Las Vegas; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to Shriners Children's Hospital, Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W. Mesquite Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106.

Charles David Dick

Charles David Dick, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1947, in Denver. A resident for 35 years, he was a dealer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Opal Dick, and two brothers, Michael Dick-Martin and Carl Dick, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sharon Dick of Nebraska.

A gathering will be 3-7 p.m. Jan. 16 in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Winslow A. Drew Sr.

Winslow A. Drew Sr., 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Illinois. A resident for 57 years, he was a casino manager.

He is survived by one son, Winslow A. Drew Jr. of California; two daughters, Debora Tretiak and Teresa Carson, both of Nevada; one sister, Patricia Ross; seven grandchildren; and three grandchildren.

A memorial graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery is pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Armando Fernandez

Armando Fernandez, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 5, 1920, in Havana. A resident for 22 years, he was a janitor.

He is survived by one daughter, Ursula Ritchie of North Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Jack Edward Hudson

Jack Edward Hudson, 57, of Las Vegas died Nov. 25 in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1945, in Indiana. A resident for 16 years, he was a security officer at the Riviera.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; one son, Jason Hudson; two daughters, Tamara and Pam; one sister, Linda; and five grandchildren.

Alexis Marie Johnson

Alexis Marie Johnson died Tuesday, her day of birth, in a local hospital.

She is survived by her parents, Rondrick Johnson and Fallon Howard, and two brothers, Isaac Howard and Isiah Johnson; her grandparents, Gregory Howard of San Jose, Calif., and Lloyd and Leslie Wiley and Jean Dedeaux, both of Las Vegas; and her great-grandparents, Helen Martin of Rocklin, Calif., Mozelle Morrison of Texas and Bert and Norma Wiley of Canada.

A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today at the LDS chapel on Treeline Drive, followed by a private burial. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Micheal Koecher

Micheal Koecher, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A taxicab driver, he was born April 23, 1944, in Florida.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Koecher, and his father, Quentin Koecher of Bellaire, Texas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Houston. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Albert Koulange

Albert Koulange, 91, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1911, in Boukhara, Russia. A resident for 32 years, he was a photography salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; and one sister, Tamara Sheinkopf of New York City.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.

Stanley Kenneth Paris

Stanley Kenneth Paris, 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 21, 1954, in McMenville, Ore. A resident for eight years, he was an automobile painter.

He is survived by his father, Ken Paris; his mother, Charlene Paris; his stepfather, Jack Pope Sr.; one daughter, Amanda; two brothers, Clarke and Jack; two sisters, Renee and Dawn; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Greg Rohrer

Greg Rohrer, 36, of Las Vegas died Dec. 22 in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1966, in Arizona. A resident for 16 years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by his fiancee, Michelle Sparks; five brothers, John of Oregon, Charles, Dennis and Paul of Arizona and Phillip Jr. of Utah; and two sisters, Linda Lefler of California and Teresa Rohrer of Montana.

A candlelight vigil will be 5:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive.

Jack Louis Spector

Jack Louis Spector, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 1927, in Los Angeles. A resident for three months, he was retired and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his adoptive family, Frank Siegel, Lucinda Siegel, David Siegel and Sarah Siegel.
