New-business workshop planned
The Las Vegas Chapter of Service Corps of Retired Executives will present "How to Really Start Your Own Business," a workshop at 9 a.m. Thursday at 400 S. Fourth St., Suite 240A.
SCORE counselors will cover marketing, cash flow and a check list for licensing, permits and other requirements.
Cost is $45 and includes a 292-page reference manual and a workbook to help analyze business ideas.

Help sought for Christmas in April
Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April will hold its 10th annual Kickoff Breakfast at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Nevada Power, 6226 W. Sahara Ave.
RTCA is seeking sponsorships by companies, corporations and organizations that can provide financial support and volunteer teams for RTCA's 2003 community projects.
Projects for Event Day, April 26, are now available for selection or "adoption" by such sponsors. Call Keith Lane at 259-4900.
