Speedway Charities gives $10,000 grant

The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities presented a $10,000 grant to the Foundation for Positively Kids Dec. 3 at its annual Grant Distribution and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Speedway Children's Charities is a nonprofit foundation that distributes funds to charities and foundations providing medical, emotional and social services to children in need.

The Foundation for Positively Kids is a nonprofit organization that seeks quality care for medically dependent and terminally ill children in Southern Nevada.
