Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers hikes, walks and programs free of charge. To make required reservations or for more information on the following or upcoming programs, call 363-1922:
White Rock Loop: A six-mile moderate hike with Ranger Vera to get the New Year going, Saturday.
Chew 2 Willow Leaves and Call Me in the Morning: A five-mile strenuous hike Saturday to find out about American Indian medicinal solutions.
Exploring Skull Canyon: A five-mile moderately strenuous stroll with Ranger Jack over fossilized boulders and see bleached animal bones, Sunday.
Exploring Oak Creek: A 3 1/2-mile moderate hike, Thursday.
Birding with a Ranger: A 2 1/2 mile easy hike with Ranger Jim on an excursion into the world of bird watching, Friday.
Hike Leader's Choice: A seven-mile moderate to strenuous trek that ventures off the beaten track, Friday.
