Carol J. Carella
Carol J. Carella, 55, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 30, 1947, in Glendale, N.Y. A resident for 5 1/2 years, she was a medical records analyst at University Medical Center.
She is survived by one son, Brian Carella of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Ericka K. Carter
Ericka K. Carter, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, she was born July 17, 1920, in Germany.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Fred Cenzer
Fred Cenzer, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 16, 1929, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired state corrections officer, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Steven Cenzer and Rick Cenzer, both of Las Vegas, and Michael Cenzer of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Ellen Pinkerman of Las Vegas; one sister, Dorothy Iorio of Bellerose, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Leslie Joseph 'Joe' Cornelius
Leslie Joseph "Joe" Cornelius, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1919, in Mina. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired city parks foreman, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Rose Society.
He is survived by his wife, Karma; three daughters, Myrna Wilson and Amber Drabant, both of Las Vegas, and Judy Cornelius of Reno; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the LDS Evergreen Ward. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
James Cornish
James Cornish, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Minneapolis. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired salesman for a yachting and recreation company, a World War II Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the Good Sam Club.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one son, Paul Cornish of Detroit; one sister, Phyllis Groff of San Antonio; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Marguerite I. Crider
Marguerite I. Crider, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Portland, Ore. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired secretary for a finance company.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Reed of Auburn, Wash.; and two nephews, Michael Reed and Charles Reed, both of Washington state.
A private burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Ray Earney
Ray Earney, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 3, 1924, in Wesco, Mo. A resident for five years, he was a retired owner-operator of a printing company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Estrellita; three sons, Darin Earney of Las Vegas, Steve Earney of Union City, Calif., and David Earney of Castro Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Pearl Stites and Bonnie Stephens, both of Missouri; one brother, Lawrence Earney of Tennessee; and four grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

James S. Essary
James S. Essary, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Quanah, Texas. A resident for 35 years, he was an iron worker foreman and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; one son, Bill Essary of Washington state; two daughters, Lisa Tejeda and Deana Paddack, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Elena A. Floria, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 2, 1934, in Naples, Italy. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, John Florio of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Anita Joyce Henson
Anita Joyce Henson, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 30, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A resident for 63 years, she retired from First National Bank after 33 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Tina Cornell of Las Vegas; two sisters, Darlene Harrington and Bonita Davis, both of Edmonton, Alberta; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Modesta Martinez, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1909, in Cuba. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Fermin Ivan Perez and Emilio Perez, both of Las Vegas, and Guy Perez of Miami; three brothers, Angel Martinez of Miami and Manuel Martinez and Isreal Martinez, both of Cuba; three sisters, Elena Martinez of Las Vegas and Teresa Martinez and Nilda Martinez, both of Cuba; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Mildred F. (Lockhard) Morell
Mildred F. (Lockhard) Morell, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 19, 1923, in De Lancey, Pa. A resident for 38 years, she worked as a charge nurse at University Medical Center from the mid-1960s until her retirement in 1988, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Italian American Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lockhart Herkes of Moscow, Idaho, and Denise Lockhart of Newport Beach, Calif.; two sons, Larry Lockhart of Downey, Calif., and Bill Lockhart of Las Vegas; one sister, Patricia Spencer of Brookville, Pa.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Deborah Ann Mormon
Deborah Ann Mormon, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 40 years, she was a hospital administrative assistant who worked in the OR department at University Medical Center for more than 18 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Briana Mormon, her parents, Helen and George Mormon, and one sister, Denise and Mark Dalzell, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Curtis Mormon of Las Vegas and Brad Mormon of Concord, Calif.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Mary Frances Noblitt
Mary Frances Noblitt, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born April 13, 1912, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 76 years, she was a retired accountant, a 1929 Las Vegas High School graduate, a member of the Sage and Sand Riders and was a prominent figure in many Helldorado parades.
She is survived by one son, Roger L. Noblitt, and two daughters-in-law, Linda Noblitt and Phyllis Noblitt, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Rachel L. Norris
Rachel L. Norris, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Portland, Maine. A resident for three years, she was a retired newspaper office clerk.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean E. Dansereau of Las Vegas, Marcia Jones of Naugatuck, Conn., and Gail Norris of Boynton Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marvin R. Patterson
Marvin R. Patterson, 45, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 14, 1957, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident, he was a utility porter.
He is survived by one daughter, Cassandra Albert, three sons, Tommy Albert, Jason Albert-Patterson and Marvin Albert-Patterson Jr., his mother, Addie Patterson, five sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Delois Patterson, Linda Randolph, Cynthia Lefear and Sandra Bolden, and two brothers, Anthony Bolden and Derick Patterson, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Bethel Baptist Church, 400 W. Adams St., followed by graveside services in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Zerry L. Reed
Zerry L. Reed, 52, of Las Vegas died Dec. 31 in Las Vegas. Born May 28, 1950, in Los Angeles, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Albertine; one daughter, Kya Reed-Thomas of California; two sons, Eric Reed and Marcus Reed, both of Mississippi; his mother, Goldie Reed of Las Vegas; one brother, Douglas Reed of Wichita, Kan.; four sisters, Elaine Anderson of California and Deborah Cooks, Barbara Wyatt and Michelle Reed, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
