Lawmakers to visit school

Assemblymen David Goldwater, D-Las Vegas, and Sandra Tiffany, R-Henderson, will be at Thurman White Middle School Tuesday to discuss education issues and the upcoming legislative session.
Sponsored by the school's Parent Advisory Council, the public forum will be moderated by Joyce Haldeman, executive director of community and government affairs for the Clark County School District.
Legislators expected to attend are: Assemblymen Walter Andonov, Josh Griffin, David Parks and Mark Manendo; and Sens. Terry Care and Warren Hardy.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at White Middle School, 1661 Galleria Drive, at the intersection of Patrick Lane and Galleria Drive in Henderson.
