Challenger registration set
Signups for the Challenger Little League, which provides an opportunity for children with disabilities to play noncompetitive baseball, are scheduled this month.
The registration will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 8, Jan. 15 and Jan. 18; 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 18; and 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 25 at Nevada Parents Encouraging Parents office, 2810 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite G-68.

The Gem Club's Silent Auction

North Las Vegas is offering
the class Introduction to the Internet at 7 p.m. Jan. 9, Feb.13, March 13 and April 10 at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. Parishioners of St. Paul the Apostle
Orthodox Church will gather at 1 p.m. Monday at Lake Mead for a blessing of the water for the Feast of Theophany. There will be a reception following at the Life Giving Spring Retreat Center, 701 Park Place, Boulder City. For more information, call the parish office at 898-4800.
