A major hardware trade show will move from Chicago to Las Vegas' Sands Expo Center next year, event officials announced Thursday.
The 59th annual National Hardware Show, managed and produced by Norwalk, Conn.-based Reed Exhibitions, is scheduled for May 10-12, 2004.
Reed moved the event, which includes the Lawn & Garden World "show within a show," in order to change the dates from summer to spring.
The show, the fourth-largest among the 2002 Tradeshow Week 200 with more than 1 million square feet of exhibition space, drew attendance of more than 52,000 people in 2001.
