The UNLV Lady Rebels will be trying to acquire some momentum for the postseason during home games against Mountain West Conference foes New Mexico (7:35 tonight, Cox Pavilion) and Air Force (2 p.m. Saturday).
UNLV (14-9, 5-5) is ranked No. 99 in the latest Ratings Percentage Index, meaning it likely will have to win the Mountain West tournament to return to the NCAA tournament.
New Mexico (16-7, 6-4) in conferene play, beat the Lady Rebels 65-60 in Albuquerque on Feb. 1. UNLV also will be looking to avenge a loss to Air Force (7-16, 1-9), which won its only MWC game at the Lady Rebels' expense, 73-72 on Jan. 30.
