Henessey 'Mamas' Bibian
Henessey "Mamas" Bibian, 10 months, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 17, 2002, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her mother, Sanjuana Bibian, her father, Gerardo Castillo, and her grandmother, Yolanda Raya, all of Las Vegas; and her grandfather, Arthur Bibian of Oxnard, Calif.
Services were scheduled Tuesday at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Jerry Kurt Booth
Jerry Kurt Booth, 67, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. He was born May 13, 1935, in St. George, Utah. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired engineering consultant for heating and air-conditioning, was an educator in the field, earning numerous awards, was a member of HVAC Local 250 in Gardena, Calif., and Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 525 in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly G.; three daughters, Rayelyne Byrne of Provo, Utah, Mickey Althouse of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Vera Hopson of Las Vegas; one son, Kurt Booth, and his mother, Jean Booth, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Shirley Jean Leavitt of Bloomington, Utah, Kathy Fuson of Las Vegas and Toni Parsons; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 3 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Mary A. Brascia
Mary A. Brascia, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born April 2, 1933, in Hoene, Colo. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the gaming industry.
She is survived by five sons, Mike Brascia, Jerry Brascia and Gary Brascia, all of Las Vegas, Vince Brascia of Boise, Idaho, and Eddie Brascia of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one daughter, Connie Kelly of Henderson; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Belinda Bridgette Burrell
Belinda Bridgette Burrell, 32, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1970, in Rantoul, Ill. A resident for 31 years she was a catalog clerk for JCPenney and a Rancho High School graduate.
She is survived by her parents, Santiago W. and Jean L. Burrell of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of the Skies Chapel at Nellis Air Force Base. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Pauline Crowell
Pauline Crowell, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1927, in California. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired secretary for a medical firm.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon Jr.; two sons, Gordon E. III and John R. Crowell; one brother, Don Stants; one sister, JoAnn; and five grandchildren.

Dolores Dodderer
Dolores Dodderer, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 22, 1928, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by six sons, Timothy Dodderer of Kingman, Ga., Richard Dodderer and Charles Dodderer, both of Las Vegas, Keith Dodderer of Iowa, Thomas Dodderer of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Francis Dodderer of Imperial Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Christina Dodderer and Donna Dodderer, both of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Marie Iwig, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1931, in Leamington, Ontario. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired hospital nurse's assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E.; one daughter, Tomi L. Fanning of Henderson; one son, Terry Iwig of Sterling Heights, Mich.; one sister, Carolyn Hoyles of Olympia, Wash.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 5 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Selman Roy Johnson
Selman Roy Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Arkansas. A resident for 31 years, he was a construction inspector at the Nevada Test Site for 30 years and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Johnson and Robert Conner, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Patti Blackman of Dana Point, Calif., and Sherre Brendel of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Stella Elizabeth Kashur, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 11 years, she was born July 6, 1916, in Seminole, Pa.
She is survived by one daughter, Cecile M. Rizzo of Henderson; and two grandchildren.

Eleanor J. Koeller, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 29, 1929, in Port Jervis, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by one son, J. Luke Koeller of Las Vegas; and one brother, Russell Whaley of Roseburg, Ore.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
James H. Leach
James H. Leach, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1931, in North Dakota. A resident for seven years, he was an educator and a Korean War veteran of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Hiliary; one son, Jeff Leach of Tucson; three daughters, Jean, Josie and Jerri; one sister, Doris Underwood of Casper, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Robert Eli Lee
Robert Eli Lee, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 4, 1917, in Brigham City, Utah. A resident for 36 years, he was a construction project manager and an Army veteran who served in the European theater.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice; two daughters, Linda Nelson of Henderson and Barbara Lee of Woodland, Wash.; two sons, Tom Lee and Steve Lee, both of Henderson; two sisters, Marjorie Hancey of Clearfield, Utah, and Mary Youngfield of Sunset, Utah; one brother, Kirk Lee of Ogden, Utah; 33 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the LDS Gateway and Wyoming chapel. Burial will be in Brigham City, Utah.
The family suggests donations to the LDS missionary fund/perpetual education fund.

Marc Lucero, 44, of Henderson, died Monday at a Las Vegas hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1958, in Boulder City. A lifetime Southern Nevada resident, he was a disabled construction worker and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Pilon-Lucero; one daughter, Erlynda Lucero, two sons, Alexander Lucero and Mathew Lucero, his mother and stepfather, Dora and Lyle Yowell, and one brother, Jerry Lucero, all of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Sunday at Palm, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
David William Marchese II
David William Marchese II, 25, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. A lifelong Nevada resident, he was born Oct. 7, 1977, in Reno.
He is survived by his parents, David and Debra Marchese of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Jack Marchese of Pennsylvania and Ernest Marchese and Michael Marchese, both of Las Vegas.

Bobby James Mead, 14, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born April 1, 1988, in Henderson.
He is survived by his parents, Carlynne Sue and Michael Lynn Mead II, and two brothers, Michael Robert Colson II and Shayne Michael Mead, all of Henderson.

Gilda Jane Messana, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 25, 1953, in Richmond, Ind. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen John; two daughters, Janey Maria Booth of Parker, Ariz., and Paula V. Trowbridge of Noblesville, Ind.; two sons, Mitchel Abner and Michael Abner, both of Las Vegas; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

John R. Michalec, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1947, in Minneapolis. A resident for 13 years, he was a salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Byron Michalec of Iowa and Brett Michalec of Minnesota; one daughter, Brandy of Las Vegas; one sister, Judy Buchholz of Colorado; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be 1-4 p.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
Andrew W. Miller Sr.
Andrew W. Miller Sr., 87, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born April 9, 1915, in Aberdeen, Scotland. A resident for seven years, he was a retired office manager.
He is survived by one son, Craig Miller of Henderson; two brothers, Alex Miller of Somerville, Mass., and John Miller of Watertown, Mass.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Gordon A. Miller, 54, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born April 6, 1948, in Wyoming. A resident for six weeks, he was a janitor.
He is survived by two daughters, Becky Miller of Carson City and Janell Sanchez of Henderson; and his mother, Norma Miller of Longview, Texas.

Stephen J. Orlosky, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 4, 1919, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. A resident for one year, he was a retired civil service forklift operator, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mary; one son, Robert S. Orloski of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Gorewich of Philadelphia; and five grandchildren.

Comano Patterson Jr., 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1940, in Darnell, La. A resident for 34 years, he was a laborer and a member of Laborers Local 182.
He is survived by four daughters, Teresa Patterson of Victorville, Calif., and Shawana Patterson, Renae Patterson and Chris Patterson, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Rickey Patterson, Comano Patterson III and Andre Patterson, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Azriah Patterson of North Las Vegas and Samuel T. Patterson of Los Angeles; seven sisters, Mary Bradford of Las Vegas, Leomano Chambers of Detroit, Ora Dagley of Inglewood, Calif., Elsie Culverson and Ernestine Feazell, both of North Las Vegas, and Louise Williams and Margaret Williams, both of Los Angeles; and seven grandchildren.

Dorothy L. Ramsay, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 12, 1915, in Marysville, Kan. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Fink, one son, Kim Ramsay, and one sister, Betty Shoemaker, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Bob Brensinger of Bashor, Kan.; and one grandchild.

George A. Storck, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 13, 1910, in New York. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired welder for the New York City Transit Authority.
He is survived by three sons, George T. Storck, Gerard and Michael; two daughters, Dorthea Garrison and Roberta Mele; two stepdaughters, Barbara Golant and Donna Walker; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bernice A. Waldrip, 88, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 9, 1914, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker and a World War II Air Force veteran.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Waldrip, and one son, David Waldrip, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Fred Shinn of Tulsa, Okla.

Ernest K. 'Sonny' Ward
Ernest K. "Sonny" Ward, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Bemis, Tenn. A resident for six years, he retired as a Greyhound bus driver after 35 years, then 10 years driving the New York Mets minor league team in Jackson, Miss., was a World War II Army veteran, a member of American Legion 0001, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 0687, Dixie Greyhound Retiree Club, Amalgamated Transit Union and the Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; one son, Jim of Tennessee; one daughter, Kay Stegall of Alabama; one stepson, Frankie Nelson of Colorado; one stepdaughter, Susan Moser of Las Vegas; one sister, Pauline Strickland; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Teri Jean Woodrum, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 15, 1945, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a change person at the Riviera hotel.
She is survived by one brother, Brandon Woodrum, and two sisters, Francine Woodrum and Carol Woodrum, all of Las Vegas; and two nieces.

He is survived by one son, Christopher Wright; two daughters, Jennifer Wright-Tolen and Wendy Jo Paulin; his mother, Joy L. Wright; and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; one son, Greg Zaratiegui, one daughter, Dawn Zaratiegui, two sisters, Francisca Zaratiegui and Anita Zaratiegui, and two brothers, Marino Zaratiegui and Toto Zaratiegui, all of Las Vegas.
