Letter: Privatization is sign of failure
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003 | 9:09 a.m.
When politicians support privatization, they are really speaking of failure. Their failure to provide the services to the community that they were elected to provide. Politicians expose their own incompetence when they speak of passing the buck.
Our elected leaders should consider what is done in the private sector when one cannot do the job. Resign your position and allow a more talented individual to tackle the challenge. If our elected officials cannot live up to their responsibilities, what do we need them for?
