Nominations sought for Impact Awards

Clark County governments want the public's help to say thanks to people, groups or businesses that have improved life in the region.

Clark County, Henderson, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas are accepting applications through March 5 for the 2003 Neighborhood Impact Awards. The awards will be presented at the fifth annual Neighborhood Congress.

Nominees will have made significant contributions to their neighborhoods. A separate award category honors youth or youth organizations.

Nomination applications are available at county Neighborhood Services Offices or city offices. Applications should include the nominee's name, address and telephone number as well as an explanation detailing why the person or organization deserves the award. Call 455-8338 for more information.
