Arizona man killed in rollover accident

A Bullhead, Ariz., man was killed after a rollover accident about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Laughlin, about 90 miles southeast of Las Vegas.

The 76-year-old unidentified driver drove into oncoming traffic on Casino Drive, Metro Police said.

The driver overcorrected and the 1999 Mitsubishi SUV rolled into the desert, struck a berm and rolled three times, officers said. The man was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead, where he died shortly after arriving.

Metro Police are investigating the accident and said that alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
