Galleria at Sunset in Henderson will celebrate its seventh anniversary with a special Galleria Cash Auction at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Food Court.
Galleria shoppers have been collecting Galleria Cash Dollars since Dec. 10 by saving and redeeming their Galleria receipts. For every dollar spent they received a Galleria Cash Dollar, which can be used to bid for prizes at the auction.
Shoppers can still acquire Galleria Cash and can receive $5 Galleria Cash Dollars just for stopping by the mall.
Bid on a variety of prizes, including a 1-carat pair of diamond earrings from Crescent Jewelers, televisions, DVD players, gift certificates, Game Boys and a host of equally appealing prizes. Register for the auction from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check with customer service for a complete list (some restrictions apply).
Bring the kids for Fairy Tale Meet & Greet from noon to 4 p.m. Celebrate Galleria's anniversary with Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, big bad Captain Hook, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio. These wonderful characters can be found throughout the mall and will pose for photos and autographs.

Las Vegas dry cleaner in shopping magazine: When Lucky, a magazine about shopping, wanted to know the best way to clean beaded and sequined clothing, it turned to the experts at the venerable Steiner Cleaners in Las Vegas.
Dawn Bell, Steiner manager, says they examine garments to determine the best way to clean them. Sequins can be easily dry-cleaned if they're sewn on, not glued. Bell offered more terrific hints in "How to Make Your Wardrobe Last Longer." Look for this useful story in the March issue.
