Doris Bennett, 78, of Las Vegas died Jan. 1 in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1924.

Murat Boyle
Murat Boyle, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired magazine editor and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Claudine Walker of Las Vegas and Nancy Wheeler of Louisville, Ky.; three sons, Bruce Boyle of Placerville, Calif., John Boyle of Chico, Calif., and Peter Boyle of Napa, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Shannon L. Buckner
Shannon L. Buckner, 40, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 26, 1962, in Biloxi, Miss. A resident for 10 years, she was a hotel assistant food and beverage manager.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry M.; one stepson, Miles Buckner of Las Vegas; her parents, Thomas M. and Sharon L. Hughes, and one sister, Peggy M. Grunenfelder, all of Lewiston, Idaho.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Anna Calabro
Anna Calabro, 86, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for four years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by one son, Steve Calabro of Henderson; one brother, Charles Asaro of San Diego; two sisters, Phyllis Ragona of Florida and Tina Lombardo of New York; and four grandchildren.

Doris G. Cole
Doris G. Cole, 94, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born May 19, 1908, in Brush, Colo. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Robert D. Cole of Las Vegas.

Evelyn Garzhow
Evelyn Garzhow, 99, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 20 years, she was born Oct. 16, 1903, in Elgin, Ill.
She is survived by two sons, David Ohngren of Warren, Mich., and Gerald Ohngren of Rochester, Mich.; three daughters, Roberta Jordan of Rogers City, Mich., Rita Cummins of Las Vegas and Judith Sasser of Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Ogg of Montclair, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at noon today in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will be in Michigan. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Donald Gee
Donald Gee, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 14, 1915, in London. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired jewelry store owner, a World War II veteran and a member of the Executive Lions Club for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rema; one daughter, Rana Goodman of Henderson; one son, Harvey Gross of Boston; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services and burial were 12:30 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
The family suggests donations to Lions Club, Eye Conservation and Burn Clinic.
Walter Karl Gloessner
Walter Karl Gloessner, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 13, 1931, in Lucerne, Switzerland. A resident for 8 1/2 years, he was a retired master printing specialist for a packaging firm and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanna; two sons, Michael DiGildo of Corona, Calif., and John DiGildo of Chino Hills, Calif.; one sister, Heidi Gloessner of Bern, Switzerland; and four grandchildren.

Alexander Gwin
Alexander Gwin, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1925, in West Hartlepool, England. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired Able Seaman and retired from the Merchant Marines and was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years; one daughter and son-in-law; family in England; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Lasley Drake Henderson
Lasley Drake Henderson, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1952, in Missouri. A resident for 26 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by one daughter, Danielle C. Lopez of Henderson; two sisters, Julie Henderson and Jana Henderson, both of Missouri; and one grandchild.
Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Robert A. Hostetter
Robert A. Hostetter, 41, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1961, in Santa Barbara, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a laborer.
He is survived by two daughters, Amber Hostetter and Rebecca Hostetter, both of Seattle; his parents, Yvonne and Robert Hostetter of Waverly, Mo.; two sisters, Julia Hostetter of Pahrump and Tammy Cash of Camano City, Wash.; and one brother, Randy Ford of Texas.
Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Mack C. Jackson Sr., 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 1, 1923, in Portland, Ark. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired hotel chef.
He is survived by his wife, Arista; one daughter, Emily McKite of Milwaukee; six sons, Mack Jackson Jr., Eddie Mack Jackson, David Mack Jackson and Greg Mack Jackson, all of Las Vegas, and Albert Jackson and John Jackson, both of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

She is survived by one daughter, Katie Hildebrand of Erda, Utah; her parents, Charles and Kathy Lederman, and her grandparents, James and Sherry Hadfield, all of Las Vegas.

V. Robert "Bobby" Loraux, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1944, in Bell, Calif. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Weyer of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Esther Maker
Esther Maker, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Cleton, Ky. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Sunshine Club at Sun City Summerlin and past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Pacoima, Calif.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Floyd Sadler of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina Hills, Calif. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Perry Harrison Morgan
Perry Harrison Morgan, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1908, in Hydro, Okla. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired accountant in the oil industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Dode Worsham of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert Marion Morgan of Tallahassee, Fla., and Aubrey Ray Morgan of Holly Lake, Texas; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Margaret Ann Owens, 81, of Las Vegas died Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Colton, Okla. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Morris, and one son, Anthony Owens, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Wilford Elmer Robison, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1924, in Hatton, Utah. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired assistant district engineer for the Nevada highway department and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Suzie; three daughters, Charlene Wilson of Omaha, Texas, Robin Boatsman of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Janice Cuiffi of Henderson; one son, Gary Pratt of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Doris B. Schager, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Alden, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired loan clerk in the banking industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynda Bailey, and one son, Douglas Schager, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Vi Everett of Lakeview, Ark., and Bonnie Hale of Cameron Park, Calif.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Patton 'Pat' Waldie
Patton "Pat" Waldie, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Grandview, Texas. A resident for 53 years, he was a retired pit boss, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by two daughters, Erma F. Waldie and Glenda Muller; and two sons, Fred Waldie and Patton Waldie; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
