Rayshawn J. Brown
Rayshawn J. Brown, 16, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1986, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Michele and Glenn Brown of Las Vegas; one sister, Tammy Rucker of Baton Rouge, La.; and three brothers, Jerome Brown of Baton Rouge and Joshua Brown and Jovon Brown, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Hallelujah Christian Fellowship, 3630 N. Rancho Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Emilio Garcia
Emilio Garcia, 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 14, 1943, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired insurance automobile technician.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine H.; one daughter, Marissa Garcia; two sons, Danny Garcia and Michael Garcia; his mother, Elvira Garcia, and one sister, Elba Rocha, both of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to Odyssey Harbor House, 4011 McLeod Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Lesley Drake Henderson
Lesley Drake Henderson, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1952, in Missouri. A resident for 26 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by one daughter, Danielle C. Lopez of Henderson; two sisters, Julie Henderson and Jana Henderson, both of Missouri; and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Thelma Mae Hugya
Thelma Mae Hugya, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 13, 1920, in St. Louis. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one son, James M. Lewis, and one daughter, Judith K. Lewis.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charalse; two sons, William A. Lewis Jr. of Lees Summit, Mo., and Edward C. Lewis of Independence, Miss.; one sister, Francis Poe of Pacific, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Henriette Khoury
Henriette Khoury, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born April 18, 1918, in Tantah, Egypt. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris Kosremelli of Lebanon, Gladys Stein of Westfield, N.J., and Hala Boncompagni of Amman, Jordan; three sons, Freddy Khoury of Benicia, Calif., Samy Khoury of Seattle and Hani Khoury of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3391 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
Sylvia M. Rippon
Sylvia M. Rippon, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 23, 1933, in Orange, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired full-charge bookkeeper for a manufacturing firm.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Allen of Las Vegas and Karen Montano of Castro Valley, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
