The Contemporary Arts Collective received a $3,000 grant from the William H. and Mattie Wattis Harris Foundation to re-establish its art education program, Artists in Schools.
The program will place art educators in local elementary schools to conduct activities that provide new art experiences for schoolchildren and their resident teachers.
The Contemporary Arts Collective is seeking art educators to participate in the program. Candidates should send a letter of interest and a resume to the CAC, 101 E. Charleston Blvd., Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89104.
Participants will be offered a free one-year membership in the CAC.
