Lolita Gloria Bedame

Lolita Gloria Bedame, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 30 years, she was a businesswoman.

She is survived by one son, Farina Bedame; one brother, Jack Bedame Jr.; and four grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Richard Edmund Biggerstaff

Richard Edmund Biggerstaff, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Rock Island, Ill. A resident for four years, he was a retired iron worker, a Navy veteran and a member of Iron Workers Locals 433 and 395.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela A.; two sons, Jeffrey Biggerstaff and Ronald Biggerstaff, both of Antigo, Wis.; two daughters, Shirl Biggerstaff of Antigo and Denise Guenthner of Bryant, Wis.; one stepson, Shane Ehman, and one stepdaughter, Shannon Ehman, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Leon Wilkens of Greys Lake, Ill., and William Biggerstaff of Crete, Ill.; one sister, Marilyn Wheisenhunt of Sequin, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Olga L. Bova

Olga L. Bova, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1932, in Ottawa, Ontario. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Michael Bova of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Mary Jean Dagenais and Judy Lavoie, both of Ottawa, and Audrey Lawes of Las Vegas.

A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Richard Byrd

Richard Byrd, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A restaurant owner, he was born March 23, 1932, in Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of North Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Lafayette, Ind. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kevin Wayne Clark

Kevin Wayne Clark, 32, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 25, 1970, in Los Angeles. A resident for six years, he was a U.S. Postal Service carrier since 1993 and worked part time at McCarran International Airport as a baggage handler.

He is survived by his wife, Monica L.; one son, Devin M. Clark, his mother, Barbara J. Green, one sister, Deirdre J. Isaac, and one brother, Gerald D. Clark, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4:30-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 9 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

John Richard Conrad Jr.

John Richard Conrad Jr., 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Ohio. A resident for 34 years, he was a bricklayer.

He is survived by his companion, Susan Mae Wigle; three sons, Jimmy, Mark and Alex; two daughters, Susie and Marsha; his mother, Barbara; one brother, David; one sister, Paula; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Merle Cooper

Merle Cooper, 75, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1927, in Bingham Canyon, Utah. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired laboratory technician for a mining company.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda McBride of Mountain Pass, Calif.; three sons, Lewis Cooper of Avondale, Ariz., and Bob Cooper and Joe Cooper, both of Barstow, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jean Larae Currey

Jean Larae Currey, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 3, 1933, in West Virginia. A resident for 25 years, she was a legal secretary, a retired Army and Navy veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Jo Currey of Las Vegas.

Denzil Melody Danielson

Denzil Melody Danielson, 55, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1947, in Colorado. A resident for 49 years, she was a bartender, cocktail waitress and manager at West Sahara Mini Storage and U-Haul.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne C.; three daughters, Dawn Berryman of Kansas City, Mo., Lori Sharp of Eugene, Ore., and Dana Danielson of Las Vegas; two sons, Wayne Danielson Jr. and Jeremy Danielson, and one sister, Mary Carlson, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Brad Bass of Portland, Ore., and Don Bass of Salem, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

Raymond Lee 'Larry' Glore

Raymond Lee "Larry" Glore, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Georgia. A resident for 11 years, he was a bartender and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Laurel "Jean"; and three daughters, Susie Glore of San Clemente, Calif., Diana Watson of Las Vegas and Denise Marie Sparks of Duarte, Calif.

Norma Mary Hall

Norma Mary Hall, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 6, 1911, in Lancaster, Ky. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired bar owner.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Soso of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert Payton of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Donald Payton and Mike Hall, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard L. Notter and James C. Notter, both of Evansville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Grace Huber, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Garfield, N.J. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired county government clerk and a World War II Army veteran.

She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Kester of Las Vegas, Judy Wittman of Mesquite and Carol Huber of Coupeville, Wash.; one brother, Harold Shamberger of Morgantown, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Raymond G. Lasky

Raymond G. Lasky, 61, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1941, in Ypsilanti, Mich. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired state general manager for an armored car service and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; his mother, Raymond G. Lasky Jr. of Azle, Texas; two brothers, Steven Lasky of Adrian, Mich., and Timothy Lasky of Onstad, Mich.

Alice Mae Lessick

Alice Mae Lessick, 78, of Las Vegas died Feb. 6 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 16, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired registered medical records technician and a World War II Navy veteran.

She is survived by four sisters, June May of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Eileen Gloria Lessick of Chicago, Ardeen Morrison of Pahrump and Dori M. Lessick of Las Vegas; and one brother, Donald Lessick of Huntington Beach, Calif.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Feb. 21 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

George L. O'Neil

George L. O'Neil, 89, of Albuquerque died Feb. 3 in Albuquerque. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a retired J.C. Penney employee, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion, a Cub Scout master, a volunteer at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, Senior Support Services, County Court and Blue Cross Blue Shield, all in New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathryn Hanlon O'Neil; three sons, George D. O'Neil of Albuquerque, Laurence G. O'Neil of Oakland, Calif., and Robert H. O'Neil of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kathleen V. Daniels of Albuquerque and Laurette E. O'Neil of Sopoot, Poland; and 10 grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. French Mortuary, Albuquerque, handled arrangements.

Murry Rothman

Murry Rothman, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1919, in New York. A resident for five years, he was a construction foreman, a crossing guard, a World War II veteran and D-Day survivor and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Margaret.

He is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Hliboki of Nesconset, N.Y.; and his longtime friend, Sharon Meyer of Henderson; three granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

New York services are pending. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Leonard F. Urso

Leonard F. Urso, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 17, 1947, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a photographer, a Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of Knights of Columbus and an assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife, Donna L.; one son, Leonard Urso II, and one daughter, Danielle Urso, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Elizabeth Urso, and six sisters, Marie Tripi, Dorothy Tringali, Fran Conner, Joanne Urso, Margie Schneider and Roseanne Stettinger, all of New York.

Jaime Viscarra, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born March 5, 1946, in Bolivia. A resident for two years, he was a factory machinist.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria; and one brother, Edwardo Haag of Las Vegas.
