Church will host prayers for peace
Christ Episcopal Church is hosting an interfaith prayer service for peace tonight at 7. The Las Vegas Interfaith Peace Service comes the day before the next U.N. inspectors' report is due on Iraq, church officials noted.
Speakers from diverse religious traditions will speak about faith and peace, followed by a candlelight vigil at the church, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway at the corner of St. Louis Avenue.

Valley Hospital Medical Center
will hold a heart fair from noon to 3 p.m. Friday in conjunction with Valentine's Day in the hospital's main lobby and throughout the first floor. Call 388-4665.
