PHOENIX -- Aztar Corp. said board member Robert S. Rosow died Saturday following an illness.
The company said Rosow, of San Antonio, had served on Aztar's board since 1989 and was chairman of its audit committee.
He also had served on the board of Ramada Inc. from 1969 until 1989, when Ramada was restructured and Aztar was formed.
An Aztar spokesman said the company doesn't have plans to replace Rosow on the board at this time. His passing leaves seven members on the board.
Aztar operates several casino resorts, including the Tropicanas in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, a property in Laughlin and a riverboat in Indiana.
