Carmen E. Armstrong
Carmen E. Armstrong, 38, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 27, 1964, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a child-care worker.
She is survived by one son, Teh Dijon Armstrong, his parents, Sammie and Marilyn Armstrong, and one sister, Dusty Armstrong, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Zion Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St.
Patricia Anne Baxter
Patricia Anne Baxter, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday. A U.S. citizen since 1964 and a resident of Las Vegas for nine years, she was born Jan. 31, 1941, in London.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Gene; two sons, Gene Lee of Washington state and John Scott of Maryland; two brothers, Richard Button and David Button, and two sisters, Irene Bilyard and Barbara Burley, all of the United Kingdom.
Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., handled arrangements.
Grant Sidney Bennett
Grant Sidney Bennett, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1926, in Canada. A resident for 15 years, he was self-employed.
He is survived by his wife, Flo; three sons, Donna, Karen and Lauri, and one son, Grant, all of California; two sisters, Marleen and Cyrillynn, and one brother, Sidney, all of Canada; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Martha L. Dudzik
Martha L. Dudzik, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Nell Patrick of Moorpark, Calif., and Denise Calaway of Woodbury, Conn.; three sons, William Dudzik Jr. and Vernon Dudzik, both of Las Vegas, and Robert Dudzik of Cypress, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will follow in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Albeny Hansen
Albeny Hansen of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born in Crockett, Texas. A resident for 20 years, she was a singer and dancer.
She is survived by her husband, Scott; one son, J.J. Jinka, three sisters, Etiny Ferguson, Loretta Mataya and Sandi Carr, and one brother, Edward Carr, all of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Melvin Hodgson
Melvin Hodgson, 75, of Las Vegas, died Feb. 3 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Phoenix. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Rafaelita; two sons, Al Zepeda and Willie Zepeda, both of Las Vegas; three daughters, Esther Baca and Bernice Gutierrez, both of Las Vegas, and Connie Gonzales of Albuquerque; four sisters, Lorraine Patton and Yuvonne Jeffrey, both of Albuquerque, Dorothy Pauls of Phoenix and Joyce Session of Houston.
Graveside services were scheduled Feb. 10 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
C.B. Johnson
C.B. Johnson, 90, of San Bernardino, Calif., died Jan. 31 in San Bernardino. He was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Laura, Miss. A former resident for 47 years, he was a retired Nevada Test Site custodian.
He is survived by one daughter, Delores Williams of Annandal, N.J.; one son, James Johnson of San Bernardino.; one sister, Maddie Perry of Detroit; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Bud Bragg Lambert
Bud Bragg Lambert, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1930, in Alabama. A resident for 14 years, he was a printer, an Air Force veteran, a member of the Moose and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret E.; four daughters, Lynn, Debbie, Nancy and Laurie; four sisters, Willie, Nadine, Nancy and Judy; one brother, Darwin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Reba Bea Leshner
Reba Bea Leshner, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 16, 1916, in New Jersey. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired ladies retail clothing saleswoman.
She is survived by two daughters, Noreen Seracino of Henderson and Diane Fishman-Perrin of New Jersey; two sisters, Shirley Schmuckler of Las Vegas and Gloria Aronow of New Jersey; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Sanford Litvak
Sanford Litvak, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in an out-of-state hospital. He was born June 22, 1933, in Cleveland. A resident for five years, he was a retired furniture store owner-operator and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two sons, David Litvak of Las Vegas and Steven Litvak of Atlanta; one daughter, Debi Rodden of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Allen Litvak of Pensacola, Fla., Saul Litvak of Tampa, Fla., and Robert Kraus of Boston; two stepsons, Scott Magon of Chicago and Bradley Magon of Westlake, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Jonathon David Magallanes
Jonathon David Magallanes, 1 day, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5 in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Ramirez of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Rose Perea and Lorenzo Magallanes of El Paso, Texas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. services Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
John H. Minor
John H. Minor, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1949, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 28 years, he was a hotel porter.
He is survived by two sons, Pierre Cooper of Dallas and John H. Minor Jr. of Las Vegas; his mother, Annie Mae Minor of Tallulah; six brothers, Frank James Minor of Tallulah and Sylvester Smith Jr., Kenneth Smith, Carl Smith, Leonard Smith and Earl Smith, all of Las Vegas; nine sisters, Bobbie Hamilton of Monroe, La., Barbara Brown, Claudette Smith, Gloria Smith, Geraldean Eason, Pamelia Carter and Angelia Black, all of Las Vegas, Shirley Commings of Tallulah, Jackie Snow of Texas and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in the Full Gospel Temple, 817 Carey Ave., North Las Vegas. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Bertha V. Montoya
Bertha V. Montoya, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A retired vendor, she was born July 14, 1930, in Canyon City, Colo.
She is survived by her companion, Lazaro Saucedo of Las Vegas; one daughter, Rita Palmer of Austin; one brother, George McDowell, and one sister, Helen Figueroa, both of Pueblo, Colo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Bruce H. Morris
Bruce H. Morris, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 16, 1926, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 50 years, he was a retail businessman, past district governor of Lions International and a member of the Las Vegas Executive Association.
He is survived by his wife, Helen N.; three daughters, Kristine Morris of McLean, Va., and Lynn Morris and Susan Morris, both of Las Vegas; one son, James B. Morris of Las Vegas; one brother, Howard Morris of St. Paul, Minn.; two sisters, Myrna Turner and Margene Knowlton, both of Salt Lake City; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Mary Gloria Owen
Mary Gloria Owen, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Great Falls, Mont. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired PBX dispatcher in the real estate industry.
She is survived by three sons, Louis Merzario of Ventura, Calif., Bruce Merzario of Murphy, Texas, and Thomas Owen of Las Vegas; two brothers, Phillip Jaeger of Las Vegas and David Jaeger of Monte Sereno, Calif.; one sister, Peggy Littmann of Las Vegas; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Marie Day Reyes, 82, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 10, 1920, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired civil service administrative clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio; and one sister, Norine Wildern of Belden, Mich.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today and Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
George N. Richards III
George N. Richards III, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Big Rapids, Mich. A resident for 30 years, he was a journeyman painter and a member of Painters Local 159.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia; three sons, George N. Richards IV and Brandon W. Richards, both of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, and Gregory Martinovics of Las Vegas; two daughters, Tawnia Richards of Coeur D'Alene and Deanna Martinovics of Las Vegas; two sisters, Betty Lee Hinga of Bishop, Calif., and Patricia Wells of Lone Pine, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in the Pecos and Osage LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Rosemary Ring
Rosemary Ring, 77, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 4, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired sales administrator for Hercules Inc. of Chicago and a volunteer at St. Rose Dominican Hospital.
She is survived by one brother, Eugene Ring of San Francisco; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Angie Marie Sobotka, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 7, 1917, in New Jersey. A resident for 52 years, she was a homemaker and a grand regent of Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, Walter J.; four daughters; two sisters; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by one daughter, Sarah Heal of Henderson; and one sister, Patsy Webb of Alberta.

Agnes Ilene Van Guilder
Agnes Ilene Van Guilder, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1932, in New York. A resident for 25 1/2 years, she owned and operated an automotive firm.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest E.; one son, Jeffrey Van Guilder; one daughter, Sandra Lynn; one brother, David; three sisters, Madeline, Caroline and Nina; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 3 p.m. service Wednesday at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Kathryn Watson
Kathryn Watson, 83, of Searchlight died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 28, 1919, in Verdon, Okla. A resident for four years, she was a member of the Searchlight Senior Center.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Watson of Searchlight and Bob Watson of Fort Morgan, Colo.; one sister, Christine Wilson of Glendale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
