BILOXI, Miss. -- Grand Casino is asking $4.5 million for a welcome center on U.S. 90, said the Biloxi real estate agent who is listing the property.
The center includes two buildings and just under an acre of land across from Beau Rivage Casino.
Realtor J. Daniel Schroeder said he's gotten 10 calls on the welcome center since it was put on the market in November.
Robert Stewart, a spokesman for Park Place Entertainment Corp. of Las Vegas, the Grand's parent company, said the welcome center was being sold because the company had better uses for the money it would bring in.
