StumbleKerrigan helps toss Rebels to victory

Sophomore pitcher Jackie Kerrigan tossed a complete game two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts to lead the UNLV softball team to a 1-0 victory over Southwest Texas State at the Fiesta Bowl Tournament in Phoenix on Sunday.
The win halted a six-game losing skid for the Rebels, who return to Las Vegas to host next week's UNLV Softball Classic -- a three-day, 16-team tournament played at Stephanie Lynn Craig Park and Eller Media Stadium.
