Boyd, Harrah’s looking at track

Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 | 10:04 a.m.

BOSTON -- The Raynham-Taunton racetrack could become a major casino site, if talks held by track magnate George Carney with two major Las Vegas companies bear fruit.

Both companies -- Boyd Gaming Corp. and Harrah's Entertainment Inc. -- are said to be interested in the sprawling greyhound track as a site for a major gaming venue, the Boston Herald reported.
