Emily L. Anderson
Emily L. Anderson, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Nogales, Ariz. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired hotel cook.
She is survived by her husband, Edmund E.; two sons; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
James E. Barron
James E. Barron, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born March 29, 1921, in Missouri. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired dancer and longtime entertainer in Las Vegas and a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
He is survived by one niece, Patti Mata of Norwalk, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Catherine Bartel, 102, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. A homemaker, she was born Oct. 27, 1900, in Michigan.

Mary Rose Bess, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 25, 1929, in Cadott, Wis. A resident for 37 years, she retired from Von's after 25 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; one daughter, Sharon Sweeten of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert Kamp and Charles Kamp, both of Las Vegas, and Jerry Kamp of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one sister, Irene Berg of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; one brother, Albert Podhola of Fountain, Colo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. until a 2 p.m. service Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Mary Ellen Bissell, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Montana. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired schoolteacher.
She is survived by three sons, James White, John White and Joseph White; seven sisters, Kathleen White, Patricia White, Emineth, Victoria Callender, Ellen Kiester, Margaret Maxwell and Mary Elizabeth Fisette; one brother, John MacDonald; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Aurelia A. Bremner
Aurelia A. Bremner, 82, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Farlington, Kan. A resident for seven years, she was a retired office manager for a car leasing company.
She is survived by her husband, David; three sons, Robert Bremner and Douglas Bremner, both of Henderson, and Craig Bremner of Duarte, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Dalton of Medford, Ore., and Betty Ramsell of Los Altos, Calif.; one brother, Robert Kountz of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.

Don S. Davidson, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Jacksonville, Fla. A resident for 44 years, he was a musician for more than 30 years, a World War II Army veteran, a member of Musicians Local 369 in Las Vegas and Musicians Local 47 in Los Angeles and he played in house bands at the Fremont, Stardust and Dunes hotels.
He is survived by his wife, Jerlinda; one son, Scott Davidson of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E.; three sons, Robert W., Jason and Ryan Casper; one daughter, Dena Casper of Colton, Calif.; one brother, Michael Mammen of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Marie Lechner and Kathy Stanke, both of Claremont, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Thomas B. Griner, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born March 29, 1928, in Statesboro, Ga. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Army master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yoko; two sons, Baron Miya of Glendale, Calif., and Edmund Miya of Burbank, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Kaneshiro of Honolulu; and one grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Hill; one son, Kevin Hendricks, one daughter, Haley Hendricks, and his parents, Ralph and Melissa Jones, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Cheryl McCandless of Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Warren F.; one son, Michael Johnson of Anchorage, Alaska; three daughters, Catherine Nickell of Denver, Brenda Johnson of Phoenix and Gail Stallard of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Arthur Paul, 80, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born July 25, 1922, in Urbana, Ill. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired barber shop owner-operator, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Masons, Elks and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Henderson.
He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Mayer of Gardnerville; one son, Andrew Paul of Las Vegas; one stepson, Richard Scholler of Henderson; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Raul Perez, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1910, in Havana. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired bank manager.

Donald C. Reck, M.D., 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1936, in Westchester, N.Y. A lifelong resident, he was a pediatrician and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; one daughter, Jennifer Reck of San Francisco; one son, Brian H. Reck of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Janet Gray of Florida; and one brother, Barry Rech of Las Vegas.

She is survived by one son, Charles Rhyne of Tracy, Calif.; one daughter, Barbara Smith, and her companion, John Bacon, both of Henderson; two sisters, Ruth Hitchcock and Betty Pickering, and two brothers, Bob Weiger and Jerry Weiger, all of Midland, Mich.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
