American Airlines said it would close its Las Vegas reservation office as part of its sweeping effort to cut costs.
American employs about 341 people at the center on Warm Springs Road. The company did not say when the office would close.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based airline said that the closure of the office is part of its ongoing restructuring efforts to save $1.8 billion a year and that a reservation office in Norfolk, Va., also would be closed.
The company has eight remaining reservation offices.
