Sunday's scheduled women's tennis match between UNLV and Nevada-Reno was canceled because of high winds at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
With gusts reaching more than 50 mph, UNLV head coach Kevin Cory announced in the morning that the match would not be played. A makeup date may be announced at a later time.
Also canceled was a match between Weber State and New Mexico State, which was sheduled to be played on the UNLV campus at the same time.
The Lady Rebels (2-0) will next be in action Saturday at Fresno State.
